The Kitchen
"Self catering accommodation in the Dandenongs"
The kitchen is discretely designed into the flow of the villa
layout. The large galley configuration incorporates every appliance
you would expect in a domestic kitchen though not so obvious behind
the black cupboard doors. However you will find a cooktop, a walloven,
a microwave, a refrigerator and a dishwasher all here.
At the far end is a relic of Ttekceba's past, the cast iron stove,
the only remnant of the original homestead. It's now joined the
ranks of decorative classics which grace the rooms of today's
Ttekceba.
Windows on two sides merge into the pergola covered terrace outdoors.
In this house you are always part of the garden.
The galley turns a corner and a breakfast table with two embroidered
chairs wait for the next meal to be taken here. A magnificent
dresser, in bleached wood, gives this corner between the kitchen
and laundry a more traditional country feel. |
