Park Life by Toni Frew,
published in Australian Looks, April 1996
"
The property occupies an exquisite site - with
views of the buildings of the city of Melbourne and the waters
of Western Port Bay - and is bounded by a state forest. To
top this off it is also on gently undulating land which gives
it the air of a park or the grounds of an old stately home.
Miracuously, many fine old trees had been left standing after
fires swept through the area
The home has large, sliding, full length walls of
windows and has been built around several courtyards and an
internal garden, so that there is no visual boundary between
house and garden
."
Green Phoenix by Natalia Standfield,
