Ttekceba
"Home to a menagerie of residents and guests"
The owner, Veronika, has a love of animals as well as plants.
Sadly the most exotic of her animals, an albino peacock (above)
was a victim of foxes some years ago.
A flock of Egyptian and Chinese geese patrol the grounds in stately
fashion. An abundance of more typical feathered friends stop in
on their travels, including wood ducks, spoon bills, herons, rosellas,
cockatoos, kookaburras, the list goes on...
Several miniature shetland ponies call Ttekceba home and enjoy
grazing through the garden when allowed.
With 400 arces of pristine bush on one side, it's
no surprise that native visitors appear quite regularly. Eastern
Grey kangaroos and the smaller wallabies can visit at dusk, while
echidnas, wombats and possums may be seen from time to time.
